A Spiffy thanks to our first web customer

by on December 7, 2009

It used to be that you’d frame the first dollar bill you earned in your store. Now that’s pretty hard to do for a web-based business, so we are commemorating our first dollar earned on our first day of business, October 6, 2009. A blog is better than a frame, no?

Our first sale was quite exciting because even though you send out a press release and email to allllll of your family and friends, that doesn’t mean someone will actually buy something.
But someone did!

She also got a home-brewed cappuccino when she picked up her order. Now, how's that for incentive? :)

That someone was K. Lynch-Leyton of Los Angeles, California, who bought bottle wraps and Joy Us holiday cards. She picked up her items, so we snapped a little photo cause we’re sort of excited and dorky that way. It’s true. We embrace our inner nerd.

Here’s a photo of our first customer on our first day!

Thanks again K. Lynch-Leyton!!!
