The world on my shelf
Saw this NY Times story and thought it was kind of cute and a bit odd. I guess I thought it was mostly cute because I am sharing it with you. It’s the reasons these ladies claim for doing this that seem odd. Just decorate your house with modern furniture already. IKEA is there for a reason.
Ok, onto the cute part. I used to collect miniature everything. My dad would either find mini items or make them. If you’re wondering, no, I never had a dollhouse. However, I still collect miniature landmarks…have 56 in total. I just like tiny things I guess.
The cool part of these houses is the modern furniture. Now, there’s a new twist on an old hobby. You know me. I love modern…big or small.
